Grandma and Grandpa's house

Charlie loved visiting Grandpa and Grandma over the weekend. Despite Grandma's patience and affection, Charlie, once again, showed his preference for males and followed Grandpa around like a puppy. Grandma and I lamented over this together--he still doesn't say "mama" but says "dada" constantly and he still ignores my friends while chasing and reaching for their husbands. But he always comes to mama when he's hurt or sad or hungry. Go figure.

When Grandpa was at work, Charlie would walk all over the house looking in the places Grandpa hangs out--his bedroom, the recliner, the back yard, the basement--with his hands hands facing upwards as if to say "where is he?"

We had so much fun at the St. Patrick's Day parade, the zoo, the children's museum, and visiting our friends in Columbus. Do you like the video of our little monkey talking back to the monkeys in the zoo?

On the way home, we stopped for some fun at the University of Illinois and Charlie loved running around campus and shouting at the pretty girls. I think the students wondered who the cute new freshman was.
