Our baby certainly has a lot of stuff--and he hasn't even arrived yet! We have stuffed animals, diapers, receiving blankets, and "onesies" coming out of our ears. Nary a nappy has he soiled, and yet we have already laundered all of his diaper pads and half of his wardrobe. He even put us to work installing his car seat this weekend (a surprisingly difficult task). I'm intrigued at how powerful my heir has become; he has made Courtney and me proletarians; I will have to study his methods. He has already colonized (in absentia) our guest room and the tiny corner of it that used to be my desk. Now he has designs on stockpiling his provisions in the guest room closet, which is the last repository of my cherished personal belongings (most notably my Pete Rose and Bob Huggins bobblehead figures). My research files and papers now stand in danger of being overwhelmed by diaper bags, boppy pillows, and booties--the shock troops of the infant revolution.
The troops are massing at the border. Invasion is imminent. Our young empire-monger stands ready: "Today the nursery, tomorrow the world!"

Court! How is it you don't fall over? And are these your Audrey Hepburn pants? They're cute!
oh billy...always putting history into his entries.
yay bean!
you failed to mention that his aunt, ahem...me, turned 21 the day this was posted!
is that a b-ball? go Moose...
WOW...I guess Grandpa Wilson was right when he started calling the baby "Moose". We might even start calling him "Mighty Moose" and Court "Mighty Mama" for carring him! Whatever he is called, I hope he will inherit the unique writing and decorating abilities from his mom and dad.
what cute outfits, can i fit in them? coach
