We just back back from a quick getaway to Hill Country. I didn't realize Texas could be so beautiful! The low gnarly trees, the smell of dried cedar, the endless beds of cacti and jagged rocks...it was such a uniquely lovely and wild place. The boys had a blast exploring, climbing and jumping off rocks, watching the sun set...chasing stink bugs, touching cacti, the occasional mouthful of sand...
