To clarify...

A new friend recently said she didn't recognize me in my profile picture (<-- there). I have to admit I've considered changing it, but I've always decided to keep the original photo. This picture was taken a few weeks after Billy and I decided we wanted to start a family, and a couple months before I started this blog. Notice the hopeful anticipation? Freshly highlighted hair? Peaceful, well rested eyes? I like looking at this picture and thinking about all the changes, good and bad...mostly bad when it comes to my appearance...that parenthood has brought us. So, the picture stays. And if you don't know me, let's pretend I still look like the spring chicken in the photo.
