27 weeks

I took these pictures of Courtney to show everyone just how much our baby is pushing the limits of her slight, delicate little frame! To steal a phrase from Churchill, never before in the field of human gestation have so many seen so much being carried by one so little. And yet Courtney does it all so gracefully: she doesn't complain about carrying the boy around, or about being awakened early by his stomps, kicks, and punches; she looks fantastic; and she still has plenty of energy to help set up the nursery (check back next week for more about the nursery)!

It is so exciting to watch our granddson grow in your body, even if he is a kicker and takes up so much room. Billy is right, you are so stoic and non-complaning. It is hard to believe you are the same girl who cried hysterically
when ever you got a boo-boo as a toddler. Yes, your life will change, but now you and Billy will have twice the love to share with your BIG baby boy! Billy, your reference to Winston Churchill reminds me thst you are a historian and will hsve lots of stories and Courtney will have lots of stories and Court will have lots of creative activities
to share with your baby when he grows older. xoxo Baba

Billy, the ultimate History Teacher, how correctly you describe your petite wife. She is ALL baby and no fat. The fact that she has Billy to support her is one of the best parts of this blessed event.
